چکیده
In this work, a mineralogical study and thermal decomposition analysis of jarosite residue sample from zinc plant were carried out. The showed that the is mainly composed four components, including jarosites, sulfates–hydroxides, sulfides spinel. distribution relevant metallic elements in these components was characterized using sequential extraction process. X-ray diffraction results AFe3(OH)6(SO4)2 ZnFe2O4 are main sample. mechanisms ammoniojarosite sodium studied by TG-DSC (Thermogravimetric analysis–differential scanning calorimetry). process corresponding mechanism analyzed. includes removal crystal water, dihydroxylation deammoniation, desulfonation component sulfate.

Der Gewichtsverlust, der auftritt, wenn die Temperatur mit konstanter Geschwindigkeit erhoht wird, laSt sich vier Elementarprozessen zuordnen: lnduktionsperiode, Sublimation, Festphasenreaktion 1....
متن کاملAlkaline decomposition of synthetic jarosite with arsenic
The widespread use of jarosite-type compounds to eliminate impurities in the hydrometallurgical industry is due to their capability to incorporate several elements into their structures. Some of these elements are of environmental importance (Pb(2+), Cr(6+), As(5+), Cd(2+), Hg(2+)). For the present paper, AsO4 (3-) was incorporated into the lattice of synthetic jarosite in order to carry out a ...
متن کاملThe Behavior of Arsenic during the Thermal and Chemical Decomposition of the Ammonium–Arsenic Jarosite
Arsenic, an element of environmental impact, can be incorporated into jarosite–type compounds and remain stabilised within the structure under a wide range of environmental conditions. In this study, a sample of ammonium–arsenic jarosite was synthesised by precipitation in sulphate medium at controlled pH of 1.2–1.8. The behaviour of arsenic during the thermal and chemical decomposition of jaro...
متن کاملMicrobial decomposition of post-harvest sugarcane residue.
A laboratory in situ composting study was conducted as a possible alternative method for the current practice of open air burning of post-harvest sugarcane residue by sugarcane farmers. In situ composting of the sugarcane residue by the indigenous bacteria and fungi was accelerated using molasses as an initial substrate. A one-time application of molasses boosted the soil microbial population. ...
